The complex intersection of memory, executive functions, processing speed and complex reasoning skills has significant determination for how every student in the classroom learns most comfortably and effectively. Yet schools measure these skills for fewer than 20% of learners. We present the research on cognitive skills and learning and show why teachers benefit from an objective understanding of cognitive strengths and needs in every student (from SpED to gifted). We will use real data to show practical applications using cognitive data to remove learning obstacles and empower students by recognizing their strengths.
