Universally Designed Professional Learning

The purpose of this session is to highlight Universal Design for Learning as a framework to design professional learning experiences that can move schools, districts, and states from exploration of UDL to integration. Like students, educators vary in  the ways they engage with content, in how they perceive information, and in the strategies they use to make sense of what they know. Professional learning opportunities must recognize and address this variability. In addition, if leaders want participants to develop a deep understanding of UDL, they must experience the framework as a learner.
