Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This presentation will provide an overview of instruments and measures used in UDL environments. Based on a review of published UDL research, we will present a sample of measures that meet reasonable standards for technical adequacy. We will focus on approaches to measuring students’ outcomes in UDL settings that are related to being an “expert learner”: (a) purpose/motivation/work ethic; (b) resourcefulness; (c) executive functioning; (d) social skills; (e) basic academic skills; (f) content knowledge; and (g) engagement. In addition, existing instruments to measure UDL implementation will be presented. Finally, challenges in UDL measurements will be discussed.
