A picture may be worth a thousand words, but when it comes to professional learning, there’s nothing like seeing and experiencing in REAL classrooms, in REAL time, from REAL teachers. How do we create more opportunities to learn from and with colleagues and experienced teacher practitioners, particularly when opportunities to get outside of our own classrooms are scarce? Join me as we embark on a UDL Virtual Site Visit. In this brief talk, I’ll outline and demonstrate a process I’m piloting to expand opportunities for professional collaboration and learning around UDL beyond the constraints of school buildings, calendars, schedules, sub availability and more.
