Stories engage us. They help us connect, empathize, and motivate us to take action. Through stories, we can better understand how to deepen and change practice and ensure our work aligns with our core values. In this session, we will explore how to leverage the power of stories to share impact of UDL on student learning. It will include stories from brain science, classroom examples, and the UDL guidelines. It will also include stories from a brilliant story teller and CAST’s co-founder, David Rose. Participants will leave with a framework to begin sharing their UDL stories of impact so that collectively, we can work together to share how we design environments for expert learning.
