One of the best things about the UDL framework is that it doesn’t ask us to throw out meaningful professional learning; instead, it give us a proactive way to ensure that it connects to student goals and removes barriers in the learning environment. As we embrace cooperative learning strategies, we must maintain fidelity to the UDL framework and make certain those strategies are designed to the margins. Join Joni Degner and Kate Edgren for a look at some of their favorite cooperative learning strategies, participate as students in these cooperative structures, and co-design cooperative learning structures that reach all learners.
