Personalizing with Purpose: Using a Research-Based Tool to Navigate Learner Variability

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Personalizing education with purpose means using what learning sciences research says about how people learn in order to reach all learners.  The Learner Positioning Systems (LPS) initiative at Digital Promise Global takes a holistic view of the learner by distilling research for easy use on cognitive, social and emotional, content area, and student background Learner Factors.   LPS is a free web app that not only lists and connects Factors, but also provides evidence-based strategies that can be applied and adapted for classroom use.  In this interactive, hands-on session, participants will explore how to use our LPS tool to understand the latest research and apply strategies for reaching each learner.

Don't forget to bring your devices so that you can interact with our LPS tool!
