Kathleen Bastedo has been employed as an instructional designer at the Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) at the University of Central Florida’s (UCF) since 2006. She facilitates faculty with the design, development, and delivery of online courses. She earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College of Syracuse University. With a background in assistive technology, she has published and presented at several conferences in the area of Universal Design for Learning and accessibility of online course materials in higher education.
